Getting Started - Now that you have chosen your stats, here is a basic guide on how to level up your Dark Elf. Please note that there are many different preferences on where to hunt; this silkroad2 gold is just our opinion.

As a dark elf, you will find yourself in Silent Cavern. This is the beginning area of the game for Dark Elves.

Dark Elves have a choice of leveling areas for the beginning. You can speak to Enya, a teleportation NPC, to teleport to Hidden Valley, or you can proceed to the south to find the Dark Elf Village and Silence Grounds.

Personally, I recommend Hidden Valley for the initial leveling because there are NPC's in Hidden Valley that will haste you for free, and cast enchantments on your armor and weapons for a small price. Very useful until you can cast these spells yourself.

I would recommend looking around as much as you can to familiarize your self with the surrounding land and landmarks. Talk to some of the NPC's to find out their function and get a hang of the game.

I want to mention this here as I find it very crucial to the game until you are fully lawful. As you walk around the town, pick up as much junk (letters, meat, lamps, lanterns, armors, weapons, etc.).
